Join Our Invasive Species Hunt on May 21!

Event details: Invasive Species Hunt!

Date & Time: Saturday, May 21, 2022, 10 am

Meeting spot: Etienne Brule Park entrance at 13 Crosby Avenue

Details: Join us for our Mountview community invasive species hunt from 10am to 11am. We’ll spend some time learning about the issues of invasive plant species, how to identify them, and then think about ways to manage them. We will also start to map out a few areas and indicate where invasive plant species are growing. This will help us in any future stewardship activities we engage in. The City runs various stewardship programs that we are hoping the school can participate in next year. The work we do this year will help us in those efforts and provide the Mountview community with an understanding of the issues of invasive plant species, how to properly identify them and what management strategies are available. At this time, we won’t be removing any plants. RSVP Here
